We are a ministry founded on biblical principles. We serve in the spirit of excellence with integrity and compassion for our community, our nation and our world. We are dedicated to reaching the lost and broken and to minister and serve them with the utmost level of dignity and respect. We are dedicated to making a disciple whom Jesus commanded us to make, mentoring and supporting spiritual leaders within Newspring and in our country in order to finish the Great commission.
Our environment inspires maximum participation, promotes personal satisfaction, and supports and molds effective leadership.

Newspring church is envisioned to make disciples of Christ Jesus, reaching people and changing lives with Christ’s gospel.
Our plan is to develop the intended Disciples of Christ Jesus, we will disciple Children, youth, men and women and involve them in intentional Disciple making ministry activities.
Kid's Ministry
Every Sunday, Newspring kids experience safe, age-appropriate environments where scripture is taught in a creative and relevant way.

We would love for you to bring us your children aged 3 to 11 years this Sunday. Join the fun, and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level
We also plan to work to develop more fully the spiritual direction of our children. This will be accomplished through stronger development of our weekly spiritual formation opportunities.
In order to strengthen our Children’s Ministry at Newspring church, we will divide the planned changes into the following: organization and communication

The Church executive committee will appoint the Children’s Committee, this children’s committee will write a purpose statement for the children’s Sunday school. Our goal is to have the official statement shared with the church body by August 2018.
Organization
1. The Children’s pastor and the Children’s Committee Chair will agree on an agenda for every Children’s Committee meeting one week before the meeting takes place. The agenda will be sent to committee members five days before the meeting.
2. The Children’s pastor will present a written report of accomplishments and challenges to the Children’s Committee and pastoral body.

6. The Children’s Committee will host quarterly teacher lesson sessions for the 2018/2019 school year.
Update: The children’s ministry has received stories of Hope learning books from a good samaritan.

7. The Children’s pastor and the child committee will lead the other ministerial staff in the development of the Child Protection Policy by March 2018.
Communication

1. The Child committee leader will contact Sunday school teachers once a week to check on their progress for the following Sunday.

2. Each year the children’s ministry will host 3 parents meetings, (by the end of every school term).

3. The church will set up/build a one storey separate Sunday school church to enable them congregate in their own church, this will also ease communication in the Children’s church.

This block will for starters act as Children’s Learning Center, and Preschool area. This would enable needy children attend and complete school. We plan to accomplish this by June 2018.
Tentative budget for the one storied Sunday school block

From foundation to completion 75,000,000 shillings
Spiritual Direction
In 2018 Newspring church’s plan is to continue to minister to families through the new small accountability groups. During the week, families currently have 1.5 hours of sharing, caring for others and praying for others. The children’s ministry wants to see families use the times that work within their schedule to deepen their relationship with Christ and their church family.
To accomplish this goal, we will:
1. Implement a Sunday schedule that includes children’s choirs, and children’s missions
2. Encourage a family devotional approach
3. Continue building the Saturday evening and Sunday morning Bible skills class
4. Communicate with parents about the lessons that their children are learning through the week.
5. Children are being encouraged to read their bible books.
Marriage Ministry
Our aim is to help couples thrive in their marriage by providing empowering educational tools to nourish and cherish each other in a healthy marriage relationship.
This ministry will also impact children, families, the church, the community and the nation.

We want to see couples learn and develop marriage enrichment and communication skills; understand what the Bible says about marriage; participate in marriage program meetings and social events; attend annual workshops/seminars and coaching sessions; annual honeymoon retreat.

Target Audience
Premarital couples (dating with intention of marriage); married couples (relationship enrichment); couples in crisis (communication barriers, trust/betrayal, separated, etc.). Also, couples living together with children (thinking out of the box to address an untapped population).

Meeting Times
2nd Saturday of every Month at 10am in the Newspring Church
3rd Saturday of every January for an outing at different locations
Youth Ministry
Youth programs at Newspring focus on three main things throughout our weekly and yearly activities. They are:
-
Engaging Scripture through memory verse rehearsals
-
Ensuring faith is relevant to our lives by getting involved in intentional disciple making Ministry activities
-
Expressing our God-given gifts through meaningful service in our congregation and Faith Element to help youth hear Scripture and lessons via discussion. Each youth has been encouraged in their groups to pray out loud while praying for others in their Small Groups, this is aimed at building their confidence and faith in prayer. This year, we are spending Monday mornings in the youth group talking about prayer in Small Groups. Additionally, there has been a greater emphasis on Youth praying out loud as a group, they do mention a memory verse once a week while in their small group.
Women's Ministry
Every woman who is a member of Newspring is automatically a member to Spring Woman. She participates by giving back to the church either financially or by volunteering her services in other ministries such as Ushers, Greeters, the Children’s Ministry, or another labor of love within The Newspring Church.
Community outreach Ministry
One of Newspring passions in life is to move from becoming inwardly focused to outwardly focused. Our church members are always looking outwardly.
We support the most vulnerable and poor communities in the surrounding community and far away from us, we provide food for the hungry, sponsorship for the kids to continue school, shelter for the home less, empower the community to be self sustained through providing economic support training like soap making, candle making, start up small Income Generating Activities
It aims at Empowering, Equipping, and Discipling Men for Kingdom Impact in the 21st Century

From the very first day a man joins Newspring,we engage them in intentional disciple making classes aiming at developing them into becoming passionate disciples for Christ, with a desire to move them from just a Men’s Ministry, to a Ministry of Men. This move will require a mindset and process change that begins from the very first day a man joins our church.
As as a result, we will develop men who:
Lead their families in worship
Explore the Word of God in study
Reach out to men in the community with the Gospel
Help hold other men accountable to God’s standards
